Give it to Habitat for Humanity. Our semiannual scrap metal drive will be on Saturday, June 1 from 9 AM to 1 PM at the Athens County Fairgrounds. Appliances, tools, siding, all sorts of metals including things with plastic or wood attached are welcome. Brass, aluminum, and copper are especially welcome. We had our first donation of a car earlier this spring. Are you hankering for a new model yourself?
